Please read this disclosure carefully before you buy or use Constans Engine. By purchasing you confirm that you have read and understood it.
Trading involves a substantial risk of loss. Trading leveraged instruments such as CFDs on indices, currencies, metals or cryptocurrencies is complex. A large share of retail traders lose money. On real-money accounts you can lose all the capital you deploy – depending on the broker and account type even more than your deposit. On prop firm accounts you can lose the evaluation fee, the funded account and potential payouts. Only trade with money – or evaluation fees – whose total loss you can afford.
Automated trading does not remove risk. Constans Engine executes a fixed rule set whose decisions are calculated by our server. Rules that worked in the past may stop working. Markets, volatility and correlations change. The software cannot anticipate every market situation, and no risk management can prevent losses in all circumstances – for example in price gaps, illiquid markets, broker outages or connection problems. Losing streaks lasting weeks or months are possible.
Past performance is not indicative of future results. Figures on our website or in the Console are either results of a specific account operated by us over a specific period or simulated historical results. Live displays show the most recently reported state and may be delayed or incomplete.
HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER- OR OVER-COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN. Our simulation uses price data that was also used to develop the strategy.
Loss brakes are not a guarantee. The Engine pauses trading at −3.5 % on a day and stops at −9 % of starting capital. Because of price gaps, slippage, connection problems or different calculations by your prop firm, losses may exceed these thresholds – and the limits of your prop firm.
No news filter. The Engine also trades around major economic data. This can lead to sharp price moves and, on accounts that restrict such trading, to rule breaches.
Identical trades across customers. All members use the same rule set. Prop firms may prohibit or sanction identical trading patterns of several people. Check this with your prop firm before use.
Prop firm rules are your responsibility. Proprietary trading firms set rules on drawdown, daily loss, news trading, weekend positions, automated trading and third-party tools – and change them. Constans Engine is built with typical rules in mind, but we cannot guarantee that a given configuration complies with a given firm's rules at a given time. A rule breach can cost you the evaluation fee or the funded account.
Technical risk. The software depends on your computer or VPS, your internet connection, your MetaTrader 5 installation, your broker's servers and our servers. Any of these can fail. A failure can mean missed trades, unmanaged positions or delayed stops.
No advice, no supervision. Nothing on our website, in the Console or in our communication is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. We do not know your personal financial situation and do not give personal recommendations. Constans is not supervised by any financial market authority and, in particular, is not registered with the CFTC or NFA (USA). If you are unsure whether automated trading is suitable for you, consult an independent, licensed adviser.
You keep control – and responsibility. You decide to run the software, and you can stop it at any time. Monitor your account.
